Save the Earth from your couch

Happy Earth Week Shit Givers!

I know that all of you give a shit about the earth every week, but what better time than right now to take real, measurable, effective action for the planet?

This week we’re teaming up with one of the most effective climate action organizations out there, the Environmental Voter Project, to turn out as many climate-focused voters as possible to elect climate-focused officials at all levels of government, and we need your help!

Quinn is hosting one of EVP’s virtual phone banking sessions TOMORROW (Wednesday, April 23rd) at 8 PM ET to turn out environmental voters in San Antonio, TX ahead of their May 3rd municipal general election.

Is that after his bedtime? Sure! Will he persevere? We’ll find out!

You can join him, and start calling voters, even if you have no phone banking experience — training will be provided at the beginning of the call, arming you with everything you need to get to work.

The best part? You can do it from your couch. It’s like regular activism, but in your pajamas.

Join us!

Even if you don’t live in San Antonio, or in Texas, these elections matter. Climate action is happening at the state and local levels, and you can be a part of building the environmental electorate, one election at a time.

And EVP doesn’t choose these elections at random. They use a long-term, evidence-based approach using data analytics and predictive modeling to identify environmentalists who typically don’t vote and then use messaging based on the latest behavioral science to get environmental voters to the polls, and then make a habit out of going for every election.

It’s science! (You can go deeper into how the whole operation works by listening to our conversation with the EVP founder, Nathaniel Stinnett).

If you want to volunteer, but that time doesn’t work for you, or if you’re looking to sign up for more than one event (look at you go, superstar), EVP has events running all week:

This is where you can drive real change! Sign up here.

Let’s get to work!

Thanks as always for giving a shit,

Willow & Quinn
