We’re popping into your inbox mid-week to let you know about some super impactful volunteer opportunities coming up on August 3rd (yep, that’s tomorrow) and again on August 14th with our friends at the Environmental Voter Project.
Some context
For those that might be unaware, Virginia’s statewide elections are coming up in November.
Besides being really important for Virginia itself, this election is a bellwether for 2024 — and the clock’s ticking, so turning out voters that give a shit about the environment is a really big deal.
The Environmental Voter Project is a non-partisan nonprofit that identifies non-voting environmentalists and then mobilizes them to become consistent voters.
In Virginia, they've identified over 640,000 environmentalists who are unlikely to vote in this fall's election without getting nudged to do so by volunteers like you.
To be frank: that’s a lot of potential Shit Givers.
Please join us and EVP online on Aug. 3 (6 pm ET) or Aug. 14 (12 pm ET) to get trained on sending postcards to these low-propensity environmental voters.
