What’s happening?
Immigrants live in fear in a country that supposedly welcomes them with open arms.
The same immigrants who built and continue to build this country, who pick, package, and serve our food, who work millions of essential frontline and service jobs, who take care of our children and elderly.
Immigrants are the backbone of this country and always have been, and they are under threat today from a group of power-hungry fascists.
What can I do?
The US Constitution guarantees rights to immigrants, so it’s up to the rest of us to know those rights, share them, and use them.
Defend Our Friends is a collection of five rules, modeled on the Constitution and the ACLU’s invaluable legal resources.
We have designed a set of five exclusive shirts to most easily share these rules wherever you wear them.
Each shirt features one rule, and a beautiful, iconic “stop” hand on the back, listing all five rules. The shirts are safe for work, and safe for school!
The shirts are made on sustainably-grown and harvested American cotton, and are printed and shipped by a small business in Pennsylvania.
The rules come in black, white, and — of course — red, white and blue. We have made shipping free across the United States.
